- We are cordially inviting volunteers for IHSA Girls Badminton State Finals on May 10-11, 2008.
- EIU Invitational The club invited die-hard Midwest players on March 22, 2008 and had great fun!!!
- Panther Palooza, 2007 was successful and has drawn new members signed up at the desk.
- Kevin Hussey, our
faculty advisor and the club coach, led the Team USA for the 2007 Pan Am Games as the Assistant Coach. The event held at the Sites of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during July 14-19, 2007. - 2007 Junior Badminton Camp was held during July 24 - 28.
- EIU hosted 2007 IHSA Girls Badminton State Finals on May 11-12, 2007. Results.
- We were very productive in getting trophies and medals in the 2007 Midwest Closed Championships held at Terre Haute on March 2-4. Ben Hussey brought two champion trophies home after winning men's doulbes teamed with Matt Wroble and mixed doubles with Tiffanie Kimura. He was a runner-up for the men's singles as well. Nackil reached the top in the D-men's singles. Quinn and Sean won the title E-men's doubles and Todd and Keith won C-Men's doubles. Full Results
- Friendly Match at Student Rec. Center - EIU Club invited shuttlers around the region for a frienly match on Feb. 17, 2007.
- EIU won its first American Badminton League Great Lakes College Regional on February 10, 2007 with a 7-2 final round win over University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Pictures...
- Four shuttlers from Indiana visited with us for a friendly match on Dec. 23, 2006.
